1. The original passport is mandatory for each client driving a buggy or quad. For residents of the United Arab Emirates, an original identification card (Emirates ID) is accepted.
2. The camp is open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM for buggy and quad excursions.
3. A reservation with a deposit of 100 AED is highly recommended. In the absence of a reservation, the availability of machines is not guaranteed.
4. Customers wishing to come on their own will receive a Google Maps link via WhatsApp. It is also possible to search for the camp directly on Google Maps by entering its name.
5. The camp declines all responsibility in case of loss or theft of objects inside or outside the camp. The search for a lost item will be deducted from the excursion time.
6. Children are accepted, but their supervision is exclusively the responsibility of the parents. In the event of an accident involving a child, the responsibility lies entirely with the parents.
7. Damage to the machines and customer responsibility: Any driving error or failure to comply with safety instructions resulting in material damage to the machines is the responsibility of the driver. Payment for repairs must be made on the same day, either in cash or by credit card. If the buggy completely flips over without any damage, an oil change will be charged, as well as the garage’s labor. An estimate will be made live with the mechanic and the parts store and will be communicated to the client live by phone.
8. Any disrespectful behavior toward the staff or the camp manager will result in immediate exclusion without a refund. In case of serious misconduct, the management reserves the right to call the police.
9. The BBQ food is 100% halal. The consumption of alcohol and shisha is strictly prohibited on the camp.
10. The organization of birthdays or other events is possible upon request and requires the manager’s approval as well as a prior quote.
11. In case of logistical or technical problems, the management reserves the right to modify the means of transportation for clients or the motorized machines used.
12. The passport will be returned after the excursion, after verification of the vehicle’s condition and the return of the protective glasses.
13. If a client gets stuck in the sand or lost in the desert, the lost time will not be compensated. Mechanical breakdowns (Fuel, Engine, Belt) are covered by the company. In case of a breakdown lasting more than 30 minutes, a partial refund will be issued. If the outage exceeds 1 hour, a full refund will be granted.
14. Safety instructions and responsibility for injuries: Customers who refuse to follow safety instructions are responsible for their own injuries and associated medical expenses. A video of the vehicle will be taken before each departure.
15. No safari camp in the Emirates offers accident insurance. Only the personal insurance of the clients is valid. Medical care (Ambulance, Hospital) is chargeable. By signing the contract, the client releases the camp from any responsibility in case of an accident or death.
16. Dangerous driving prohibited: Jumping dunes. Driving at maximum speed. Dangerous crossings. Donuts or drift. After a single warning, the activity may be interrupted without a refund.
17. Unescorted excursion: Assume full mechanical and medical responsibility. Leave the keys to their personal vehicle as collateral. In case of delay, additional fees will be applied.
18. Anyone receiving the terms and conditions and the price list on WhatsApp is considered to have accepted the rules and rates. Payment in cash or by bank card (+3% bank fees).
19. Improper handling of the gearbox: Gears must only be changed when the vehicle is stationary and smoothly. Any damage due to mishandling will be charged to the client.
20. Fire safety: Each machine is equipped with a fire extinguisher located at the rear. In case of fire, turn off the engine, use the extinguisher or throw sand and wait for the guide to turn around.
21. Repair time after an accident: If a damaged part is not available, it will need to be ordered. 300 AED/day will be charged for the immobilization of the vehicle.
22. Dispute over quotes and legal procedures: In case of disagreement over a quote, a complaint can be filed with the police. An investigation and judgment may be initiated, immobilizing the client’s passport until the dispute is resolved (Approximately 3 months).
23. Any questions regarding the general terms and conditions must be submitted in writing via WhatsApp.
24. Accidents are rare and are generally due to non-compliance with the instructions given by the guide.
25. The cost of repairs can range from 2000 AED to 47,000 AED depending on the severity.
26. The photos and videos taken may be used on social media and the camp’s website. A request for removal can be addressed to the management.
27. Any use of the BBQ area is the responsibility of the client, as well as cleaning and tidying up.
28. A shop offering turbans, snacks, and drinks is available (Paid items).
29. The loss of the provided protective glasses will be charged at 200 AED.
30. Paid photo stops: Photos with falcons, horse or camel rides are paid, please bring cash with you on your trip outside.
31. The driver is responsible for his passengers and what they have inside.
32. Arrival time and parking: Customers must arrive 15 minutes before the start of the trip. Free parking is available on-site.
33. Organization of the tourist safari + buggy/quad: For clients who have booked both a tourist safari and a buggy/quad trip, the driver will pick them up from their hotel around 2:00 PM.
34. The money for the safari and buggy/quad trips must be given to the camp manager, not the SUV driver.
